Our friends at SezWho have recently released a new update to their WordPress plugin, which you can see in action on The BlogCatalog Blog.

According to SezWho the updated plugin “has a lot of minor fixes and performance improvements. Also a few more configuration options”, and upgrading is as easy as replacing a few files.

The only issue i had with it was that they have added a filter to the the_author() function that returns a html string with the user’s avatar instead of the standard plain text string. This caused our template to wig out a bit since we use that function to link to BlogCatalog.
